I’ve heard different advice on strength training and want to know what works best. What exercises help increase pedal power, like the weightlifting I see track riders do? Also, how can I use free weights in the gym to build strength, and what exercises, sets, and reps should I include in a training plan?

When and how to re-introduce training after infection/illness/man flu!
Been ill now for 3 weeks getting better, lost a stone in weight due to lack of appetite, coughing all the time (phlegm) , difficult to get any sleep, temperature, uti etc. So now 3 weeks in am still feeling really weak but now sleeping a lot. My question is how do I get back to how I was 4 weeks ago in terms of fitness? My goal is to do the 312 route in Mallorca in the beginning of April and certainly going backwards instead of forwards at the minute. Cheers Scott

Cycling for the over 65s
As an older rider what are the should and should nots of riding past 65. Recently retired and doing 3 ride a week - about 100km in total. Would like to know more about riding further and maybe bike set up as the flexibility is reducing.
